Futbol Club Barcelona is reforming its stadium – the Camp Nou – and will not be able to play again until November 2024, for this reason it has had to temporarily move to Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys.
The remodeling and conditioning that we have carried out aims to transform an athletics equipment that was mainly used for large-format shows and events in a football stadium.
The actions carried out have affected more than 50,000m2 in the following areas:
Playground
Graderies: Sectorization and conditioning
Sports spaces and staff.
Spaces for the press and sports broadcasting requirements.
Areas of hospitality.
Merchant spaces.
Offices and control rooms.
Tickets and social area spaces.
Parkings.
The initial premises of the performance and which have conditioned the choice of the proposed solutions were that the works should be executed in less than six months, with interruptions to celebrate 9 previously agreed concerts, and that all the interventions should be able to be reversed when the FCB leaves the stadium.
For this reason, dry solutions have been proposed, which can be assembled quickly and can be dismantled at the end of the use of the FCB, 100% reusable construction materials and solutions (cradle to cradle) and to a large extent of proximity and dimensioned solutions for intensive use, with low maintenance and easy replacement in case of breakage.
