48H OPEN HOUSE BARCELONA

On October 26 and 27, architect Carles Gelpi i Arroyo, founding partner of 2BMFG, took part in guided tours of two projects carried out by the studio that were opened to the public as part of the 48H Open House Barcelona.

The projects open to visitors included the headquarters of the RACAB, Royal Academy of Sciences and Arts of Barcelona, designed by architect Josep Domènech i Estapà and listed under protection level A: an Asset of National Cultural Interest. It is part of the itinerary of some of the most emblematic buildings in the city of Barcelona.

The other project was the refurbishment and upgrading of the Olympic Stadium that we carried out, with the aim of transforming an athletics facility, mainly used for large-scale shows and events, into a football stadium.
