REHABILITATION PROJECT OF THE HEADQUARTERS OF THE REAL ACADEMY OF SCIENCES AND ARTS OF BARCELONA.

The building of the headquarters of RACAB, Royal Academy of Sciences and Arts of Barcelona, work of the architect Josep Domènech i Estapà and cataloged with protection level A: Cultural asset of national interest, is part of the itinerary of the most emblematic buildings in the city of Barcelona. All the actions that have been carried out in recent years have been carried out with the double objective of conserving and adapting the building for its opening to the public, since the academy wants to increase its outreach activity, especially with the rehabilitation of the 4th and 5th floors and the two domes: the astronomical and the meteorological. Therefore, the entire building has been rehabilitated: facades, roofs and roofs and the interiors: entrance hall, mosaic in the assembly hall, 4th and 5th floors, stairs and towers.
